Service Update - Dated February 19, 2015

We are operating on schedule today. Our trucks will be picking up today’s stops as normal and we will utilize additional trucks and drivers as well as longer hours to service stops from Tuesday and Wednesday

Due to dangerous ice conditions, residential back door service will not be available until the weather and road conditions improve next week. Residential back door customers who place their trash and recycling at the end of the drive will be serviced from the street if street conditions permit.

Streets, job sites, and parking lots that are still icy and dangerous are not being serviced until conditions improve. Our goal is to safely service all customers by end of day Saturday but adverse road and weather conditions will affect that goal. Please leave your residential trash and recycling at the curb until we are able to service your area.

Commercial customers should place any extra waste near – but not blocking – the container to allow our drivers the ability to empty the container multiple times if necessary. On Monday, we plan to return to our normal pick up schedule. We will pick up any excess waste and recycling as each stop is serviced.

Please remain patient as we balance our commitment to the safety of our employees and the citizens of East Tennessee with our commitment to provide excellent service.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this challenging and changing winter weather event.
